How to get there?
Location:
Dajia Riverside Park (under Dazhi bridge)
大佳河濱公園
For Training Days :The most convenient way to arrive at the dragon boat location is to take a taxi, as transport to the Dajia Riverside Park is quite limited. Alternatively you can take the take the R34 bus which arrives directly at the dragon boat area or MRT to Xingtian temple and take a taxi from the MRT to the Dragon Boat arena for around 90 TWD.
For The race Days : TMI will be running a free bus departing from TMI school on the race days.
What should I wear/bring?
As the practices will be on the river you will get wet! It is best to wear clothing that you don’t mind getting wet. We recommend shorts, t-shirt, sandals (flip-flops). For the racedays, TMI will provide all members with uniform jersey’s which can also be kept as a memory after the event is over. You will also need to bring any form of photo ID to show you are part of the team.
For any questions students can speak with reception at the Institute.
Happy Paddling!!!

Hello Taiwan Mandarin Institute Team!
My name is Christopher Chen and I’m a current student in the Global MBA(GMBA) at National Taiwan University. GMBA is a Masters Program that is taught fully in English and our students come from all over the world. This year we would like to join and participate in the Dragon Boat Race in June. I wanted to reach out to you and see if there are local training facilities or classes that our team can join, have fun and continue to strengthen our bond within our program and with Taiwan. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for us preferably closer to us (NTU – Gongguan MRT station) but we are willing to travel (we live all over Taipei).0674901
Thank you!
